Ian Has been in touch and is very pleased to sign the stamps!!!!!





Here is your opportunity to win a set of Royal Mail Mint Stamps by one of the most highly respected illustrators.

I found these in my loft whilst searching for something completely different and discovered that I still have two sets, I was represented by the same agent called the inkshed as Ian for fifteen years and he lives quite near to me. Ian agreed to sign the stamps for me many years ago and I never managed to meet up with him for one reason or another but I am going to contact him and try to persuade him to do the deed this time so it may be a set of signed stamps we will wait and see.

Ian Pollock is one of the all time greatest illustrators in my opinion and instills a deep belief for me that pen and ink beats computer generated illustration hands down.
You understand that a real human being is completely connected to the subject, medium, narrative and can utilise the universe that exists within a blank piece of paper and then there is light! so to speak.

Creation is the word that best describes Ian's illustrations for me, what do you think?
